Mid Atlantic Retreat May 27-29

Sairam Embodiments of Divine Love,

"The value of holy places consists in just this: kindred spirits congregate there and contribute to the deepening of spiritual yearning. You can take sweet and sustaining counsel together, in such places, and strengthen your faith and devotion." - Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol 5, Chapter 2, Page 12

With love and gratitude, we offer the 47th Mid-Atlantic Regional Retreat of the SSSIO at the lotus feet of our beloved Swami and announce the opening of retreat registration. We are thankful for this opportunity to get together in-person as a region after a long gap of 3 years and we are looking forward to seeing you!

Our retreat registration website is https://retreat.sairegion2usa.org. A wealth of information regarding the retreat is available on this website.

This year's retreat will be held in-person from Friday, May 27th to Sunday, May 29th (Memorial Day Weekend) at Camp Westmont in the beautiful Pocono Mountains.

With Swami's immense grace, planning for the retreat is well underway. The retreat theme is "Attitude of Gratitude". We are blessed with three incredibly inspiring speakers this year, Mrs. Seema Dewan, Mr. Jonathan Roof and Mr. Leslie Farkas. Details about speakers and other highlights are included under the program tab on the retreat website.

The retreat is open to everyone regardless of vaccination status. We will be requesting those who are not fully vaccinated to provide results of an RT-PCR COVID-19 Test taken 72 hours prior to your arrival at the retreat. Home test-kits are not a substitute for this. There are numerous locations that perform these tests free of cost. Please reach out to the team if you would like help in identifying locations where you can get tested. Please note that we will also continue to regularly monitor pandemic updates and CDC guidance leading up to the retreat and update our guidelines and plans accordingly. We request you to regularly check the COVID-related guidance section on the retreat registration website for latest updates.

Safety of devotees is our top priority and we are capping registration at 500 to help us implement distancing and other safety measures. We encourage you to register as soon as possible to ensure accommodation at the campsite. Devotees who are planning to come just for a day should also pre-register. Early registration of devotees coming to the retreat is critical to the planning process. The last day to receive the early registration rate is Friday, May 6th 2022. There is an additional $5.00 fee for late and on-site registration.

All requests for cancellations must be received no later than Sunday, May 15th, 2022 to receive a full refund.

While registering, please take a few extra minutes to select your service activities. Mail your checks as per the instructionswhile registering. Please note that we are accepting Online Bill Pay and Zelle payments.

Devotees who prefer to stay in hotels should make their reservations as soon as possible. Hotel information for nearby hotels is available on the registration website.

This retreat is made possible by the dedicated effort and selfless service of scores of volunteers. We encourage your active participation!

Let us pray to Bhagawan to bless us all with His loving presence at the retreat.

Loving Sairam,

Regional Retreat planning team
Samastha Loka Sukhino Bhavantu
May all the beings in all the worlds be happy
